DSP and Solution: Next generation radar, full-coherent pulse Doppler system, accurately measuring target velocity The full-coherent radar system can accurately measure not only the intensity of the target weather events but also the velocity of the target. The system can provide information on the location, features and development trend of the hazardous weather events. Product of ADWR-X：Reflectivity, Velocity, Spectrum. High system sensitivity, precisely detecting weak weather echoes in the vicinity of the airport. The system sensitivity of ADWR-X is comparable to the sensitivity of TDWR which is the most advanced airport terminal Doppler weather radar in the world, so ADWR-X is capable of detecting very weak weather echoes. The beam width of 0.55°makes the detection more precise and effective. Therefore, it can accurately and promptly detect hazardous weather events such as clear air turbulence, low altitude wind shear and microburst, then issue early warning to ensure the air safety.
